Dimensions                 :           Malleable cast iron pipe fittings as per IS 1879/87, upto latest amendments

Material                       :           Black heart malleable as per IS 14329/1995 GR : BM : 300

Threads                       :           Threads as per IS 554 1975 and gauges practice as per IS 8999 parallel female and

                                                  taper male thread

Finish                          :           Galvanized finish tested in accordance with the provisions contained in

                                                 IS 4759/1985, IS 6745, IS 2633 Black fitting also available

Pressure Test            :           The fittings are subject to a pressure test of an internal

                                                 hydraulic pressure of 2.1 Mpa i.e 21.2 Kg/cm2 or 300 Lbs/inch2

Alignment                   :           The angles of threads of fittings are 90° within a tolerance of + 1/2%

Compression Test     :           Compression test of 5% is required for 1/2″ to 2″ pipe fittings

                                                  Compression test of 3% is required for pipe fittings above 2″ i.e 21/2 to 6″

Marking                       :           Each fitting is marked with our trade mark Mercury Valves and Pipes
